Hey, I’m Mr. D’Angelo, and I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and Science here at the Califon Public School. 

 In 7th grade Math, we just explored the Coordinate Plane and how to Graph Linear Equations using a T-table.  Next we will be learning about Rates, Ratios, and Proportions; and how it can be applied to every day life. 

 The 6th and 8th grade Math classes are exploring Simple/Multiple Step Equations, and how to solve for the missing Variable.  Next we will be learning how to Graph Multiple Step Equations, including how to find the Slope of a Line. 

 In 6th grade Science, we are exploring the Four Agents of Erosion (Wind, Water, Glaciers, and Gravity), and how the earth is constantly changing its’ landforms due to Mechanical/Chemical Weathering. 

 In 7th grade Science, we are exploring the Plant Kingdom, and all the different processes of Photosynthesis, Respiration, and Reproduction. 

 In 8th grade Science, we are exploring both Heating and Cooling Systems, and how Internal/External Combustion Engines operate.
